"Lada is the ultimate expression of a Crazy Horse dancer. She epitomizes the essential blend of strength, femininity, and a sense of humor."
Born in Moscow, Lada Nikolska began dancing at the age of 5.
While visiting "The School of Dance and Music" in Leninsky with her mother for a piano class audition, she stopped at an open door. Within were children performing complex dance moves and looking very happy, so she asked her mother if she could go there instead. Her mother agreed and she was accepted into her first dance class.
Beginning with classical ballet, Lada studied various disciplines including, jazz, modern and multi-cultural traditional dances.
At the age of 14 she was chosen by famous Russian designer Vyacheslav Zaytsev to attend modeling school where she learned modeling and runway. Lada soon found herself having to make a difficult decision. Pursue modeling or continue dancing? She decided to follow her heart and was accepted into the Russian Ballet program at the "University of Culture and Arts" in Moscow, where she majored in choreography.
While still studying at the University, Lada began performing with the most reputable cabarets and companies throughout Moscow, where she developed a deep attraction for the beauty and glamour. After graduating she had decided to go to Paris but was delayed when she was selected by the "The Grand Circus of Moscow".
After 2 years of touring internationally, Lada found herself in Paris. Not speaking any other language than Russian, knowing no one and with only a map in her hand, she arrived at the world famous "Crazy Horse" where she was immediately hired.
During her 7 year career she was chosen to showcase CHP with such names as Christian Louboutin, Kylie Minogue and Roberto Cavalli.
While performing at the CHP in 2010, Dita Von Teese approached Lada and asked if she would like to join her show "Burlesque: Strip Strip Hooray!". She accepted and has been a staple in her show since, performing in such cites as Houston, New Orleans, Seattle, Portland, Hollywood and New York City.
In 2013 Lada can be seen with "Burlesque: Strip Strip Hooray!" touring the US.
